Dr. Harris is actively involved with bringing better dental health to friends in faraway places through the international organization SERVING HIM. Dr. Harris makes frequent trips to San Raymundo, Guatemala to provide quality care for those who need it most. The line starts forming at 5:00am on the first day of the clinic, and the volunteer dentists and physicians stay busy throughout the week providing compassionate, quality care. Dr. Harris and his wife Carol are usually accompanied by one or more family members. Daughters Laura and Leslie plan their schedules to be available as often as possible, but the most recent trip was a first for son-in-law Stephen Watson, who headed up a Children’s ministry team. Dr. Harris and his son Alan have also traveled with SERVING HIM to Braila, Romania. The Braila clinic has recently expanded to nearby Moldova. SERVING HIM has also recently established new outreaches in Bangelore, India and Ukraine!
